1.1 Acolytes

All acolytes of the Academie must advance through five levels of study before becoming established workers of magic, magick, magery, wizardry, sorcery, or mastery. The five levels are as follows:

• Basic Concepts - The acolytes must wear the dark brown robes and are not permitted to speak until they have completed their training in this level. The acolytes learn the basic concepts of magic, including the dispelling of any misconceptions brought about from childhood or the culture they hail from. If the acolytes cannot complete this level of study, they must wait ten years before attempting it again. The training takes about two months to complete.
• Life Concepts -The acolytes must wear the white robes during this level of study. The acolytes learn ideas and concepts about life, to attempt to understand it better. Students without specific gifts learn spells of healing which in fact originate from the life energy of their subjects. The training takes about five months to complete.
• Elemental Concepts - The acolytes wear the light blue robes during this level of study. During this level of study, the students learn about the various elements that make up the universe. They learn the best and fastest ways to utilize these elements in many different shapes and forms. The training takes about five months to complete.
• Energy Concepts - The acolytes must wear the red robes during this level of study. The acolytes learn the nature and understanding of energy, including its various states. They learn how to manipulate and alter the energy around them, and are introduced to their first real look at how magic and magick work. The training takes about five months to complete.
• Mental Concepts - The acolytes must wear the black robes during this level of study. They are disciplined to learn the nature and ability of the mind, how to properly use it, and how to understand what others are thinking. The students learn simple mental techniques and abilities. The training takes about a year to complete.

1.2 Robe Color Assignment

All general fields of study have been assigned colors to easily differentiate between them. There are currently eighteen colors set aside. They are as follows:

• Dark Brown - Knowledge. This field of study promotes a pursuit of knowledge and a thirst for learning. The magic-user in this field studies all forms of knowledge, and usually become either teachers or scholars. They work to increase the general repertoire of knowledge and magic for everyone, and have put together an encyclopedia of magic in all its forms.
• White - Life. Abilities include healing practices and the manipulation of life energy. They learn the nature of life and life energies and how to use and manipulate them. They work to extend the general life expectancy of beings.
• Light Blue - Elements
• Red - Energy
• Black - Mind
• Dark Blue - Temporal Mechanics
• Dark Green - Nature
• Orange - Non-Living Natural Phenomenon
• Purple - Movement, Physical
• Light Green - Biological Mastery
• Pink - Physiological Mastery
• Gold - Extra-Dimensional and Extra-Existential Beings
• Silver - Souls
• Bronze - Historical Mastery
• Peach - Anthropological Mastery
• Yellow - Quest
• Rainbow - Truth of Existence
• Grey - Nature of Good and Evil
